First greeting of 2008

At the beginning of Year of Mouse, with the blustering wind and heavy snow, south China area was almost surrounded by ice and snow.

The business of TMT was also seriously impacted by the bad weather. With the stoppage of railway transportation, the railway containers and cargoes were overstocked in railway stations, our customers were waiting for the assistance and improvement anxiously, meanwhile, the management team of Multi-modal department has reorganized, some high-level managers had left their positions and the successors were not ready yet. It was a true hard time.

With the thick clouds ripped open by a whisper genial sunlight, the warmness has sprinkled to the earth, the snow and ice melted and all creatures were recovered. Led by top management of TMT, the whole company and department were timely reorganized and reconstructed, team spirits were maintained and improved, staff were motivated to pro-actively work for company and fully displayed own ability, our company has defeated the severe environment and all depts. had stepped out of hard situation with great enthusiasm and host's spirit lying in staffs’ heart.

Under the guidance and instruction of our new general manager Ms. Yu and with full support from all team members of the dept, Multi-modal dept has not only maintained the original business but also explored new customers and business in past two months. The corresponding responsible personnel in MM department has paid visit to Nanchang and Lianyungang in late March and early April in order to further communicate with local shipping lines, railway authorities and agents. Their hard work had obtained substantive breakthrough. The block train project of Nanchang-Shanghai(Luchao Port/Yangpu Station) was under final stage of negotiation with shippers, Nanchang Railway Bureau and agents and the contract was planed to sign very soon. After related market survey, the Lianyungang product was explored and developed with astonishing speed and we estimated the operation would be started officially from mid-April.

With all buddies and sisters in TMT, Multi-modal team members would like to endeavor all of their efforts to contribute more to our company.

TMT, an eagle with spread wings, will surely fly up high into the sky. Let’s work and live together to make our tomorrow better and better!
